Money Issues Divide Maute Terror Group Among Themselves

Amidst reign of terror they brought Marawi City and the continuous firefight against the government's Armed Forces, Maute Group is apparently disintegrating among themselves because of money issues.

Lt. Col. Jo-Ar Herrera, spokesperson of the Joint Task Force Marawi, claims that the rebel group  has their own conflict that slowly breaking them apart.

It was said that the escape of Isnilon Hapilon from their force is the root cause of their division.

This apparently caused demoralization on the part of the terror group.

Aside from internal organization issues because of lost in leadership, lack of firearms, bullets and financial issues piles up to the many problems of the Maute  group.

The armed forces are still situated across four barangays in Marawi City.
